Accountgator reads balances and transactions from accounts you link, and shows them in one place. It cannot make payments or change anything at your bank.
You register your own Enable Banking application, you approve access at your own bank, and you keep your phone and your recovery key safe. Access to your accounts ends on the date your bank sets unless you approve it again.
